Hace 3 días · The Swabian branch ruled the principalities of Hohenzollern-Hechingen and Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen until 1849, and also ruled Romania from 1866 to 1947. Members of the Franconian branch became Margrave of Brandenburg in 1415 and Duke of Prussia in 1525.

16 de jun. de 2024 · On the way back we had a quick look at the Sanssouci Park and had a look in the Friedenskirche where Prince Georg Friedrich of Prussia and Princess Sophie von Isenburg were to get married on Saturday. We also saw some graves of members of the Prussian royal family buried there.
