Hace 5 días · In the latter part of the fifteenth century, Sir Edmund Courtenay, second son of Sir Philip Courtenay of Powderham, by Elizabeth, daughter of Walter, Lord Hungerford, and brother of Courtenay, Bishop of Winchester, having married the heiress of that manor, settled at Deviock in the parish of St. Germans.
