Hace 6 días · It follows the same descent as Ellesborough Manor until 1539, when on the attainder and execution of Sir Richard Pole's son Henry Lord Montagu his lands were forfeited to the Crown. These appear to have included the whole of Medmenham Manor, which was granted in 1553 by Edward VI to Sir Thomas Palmer.

He was knighted when Arthur was created prince of Wales in 1489 and he continued to serve on a number of North Wales commissions.
