14 de may. de 2024 · Stratford-upon-Avon is well-known as the birthplace of Shakespeare, and there are many sights in the town related to the Bard. The town itself is a medieval market town found in the Midlands of England just south of the city of Birmingham.
Hace 3 días · Stratford upon Avon is situated 22 miles South East of Birmingham and 8 Miles South West of Warwick and is close at hand to the North Cotswolds villages. The town's name is derived from the Old English name of Straet meaning Street and Ford that meant that it forded the river into the town.
