The Blues Brothers are a band founded in 1978 by comedians Dan Aykroyd and John Belushi. Initially created as part of a musical sketch on Saturday Night Live, the band quickly gained popularity, leading to the release of their debut album Briefcase Full of Blues in 1978, which went double platinum.
