25 de jun. de 2024 · The Enfield church was appropriated by Walden before the end of the 13th century and a vicarage was ordained before 1254. In 1538, at the Dissolution, the rectory and advowson of Enfield were granted to Sir Thomas Audley, later Lord Audley of Walden, who surrendered them in 1542 to the king.
