21 de may. de 2024 · Margaret Cavendish’s husband, William Cavendish, the 1st Duke of Newcastle (1593–1676), was one of Bess of Hardwick’s grandsons, and therefore a cousin of the 2nd and 3rd Earls of Devonshire, both (confusingly) also called William Cavendish.

3 de may. de 2024 · The Chatsworth House is a beautiful estate located in Bakewell in the United Kingdom, and has been the home of the Cavendish family for almost 500 years. Sir William Cavendish, an English nobleman, politician, and courtier, purchased the manor in 1549.
