The enthusiasm and "the fire of devotion" of the early years in Weimar are evident in many documents. Even today, Bauhaus design shapes our everyday life.

The party closed the school in 1933, after moving it to Dessau and then to Berlin, and banned many of its artists from showing their works in public, considering them attacks on beauty and potential vehicles of Bolshevism.

16 de jun. de 2024 · There is lots to see relating to Bauhaus in Dessau. We were particularly interested in the collection shown in the first floor of the New Museum. Impressive architecture and a must see collection, can get through in 90 minutes or so.
