29 de may. de 2024 · Sahagún was a Franciscan missionary who arrived in Mexico in 1529. The manuscript, commonly referred to as the Florentine Codex, consists of twelve books that cover a range of different topics. The twelfth book focuses on the Spanish conquest of Mexico between 1519 and 1521.

Los de México los dedicó básicamente a tareas de evangelización ya que, por encima de todo, era un misionero franciscano.
