With remasters, it's difficult sometimes to keep up with the sudden limited showings of anime films, so the advance notice a month ahead of its June 23, 2024 rerelease will be appreciated by the fans.

I watched it like a week or two ago and thought it'd be a pretty good film since the trailer made me think so but as I kept on watching it, it just became so dull, unoriginal, un-GitS and completely missed its true essence and culture (Japanese). There is a silver-lining to this, seeing Scarlet Johanson wearing a fake nude body.
