I think Glenn Ford is one of the finer actors of Hollywood’s golden age. And he handled and rode horses so naturally, you’d think he grew up on a ranch. His range from good guys like in The Violent Men to manipulative yet redeemable bad guys such as 3:10 to Yuma was amazing.
