Though several actors would go on to big things (Liam Neeson as Gawain, Gabriel Byrne as Uther Pendragon, Helen Mirren as Morgana le Fay, Ciarin Hinds as Lot, Patrick Stewart as Leodegrance), Nigel Terry as Arthur wasn’t up for the task of carrying the movie.
