Hace 3 días · Moira Castle, County Down in 1799 by Gabriel Beranger. In 1631 Major George Rawdon, a wealthy man from the village of Rawdonin Yorkshire, settled in Moira. During the Irish Rebellion of 1641he and 200 English soldiers helped defeat the army of Sir Phelim O'Neill and re-secure Moira and its environs for the Crown.
