His father, Johann Ambrosius Bach, was a town musician, and Bach received his earliest musical education from him. Bach's family had a long tradition of musical excellence, with several generations of musicians preceding him.

21 de may. de 2024 · The old Bach monument is located in the green areas on the Dittrichring, southwest of the St. Thomas Church, opposite building number 8. It is the world's oldest monument to Johann Sebastian Bach and was seeded in 1843 by Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy.
