Hace 2 días · Carl XVI Gustaf (Carl Gustaf Folke Hubertus; born 30 April 1946) is King of Sweden. Carl Gustaf was born during the reign of his paternal great-grandfather, King Gustaf V. He is the youngest child and only son of Prince Gustaf Adolf, Duke of Västerbotten, and Princess Sibylla of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha.

On Saturday 30 April, King Carl Gustaf was congratulated on his birthday – in keeping with tradition – by the Swedish Armed Forces and the public in the Outer Courtyard at the Royal Palace. The King was born on Walpurgis Night, Friday 30 April.

Their Majesties will be in Mexico from 12-14 and will engage in activities that reaffirm the good political and economic relations between the two countries.
