The 1259 image world stereoview collection was given to Omaha Public Library by Charles Nelson Dietz (1853-1933) who made his fortune in Omaha in the lumber business. From 1912 to 1930 Mr. Dietz served as President of the Omaha Public Library Board, and until his death in 1933, as President Emeritus.
