25 de may. de 2024 · The German battleship Bismarck, named after the 19th-century German Chancellor Otto von Bismarck, was the pride of the Kriegsmarine (Nazi Germany‘s navy) when it was commissioned in August 1940. At 823 feet long and displacing 50,900 tons fully loaded, the Bismarck was one of the largest and most powerful battleships ever built.
