First off, the cranes. If you look over the aft 150mm turret in the picture you can see a pulley for the crane.

  6. Hace 3 días · I looked at the pic in Colleckchiy 2002 Battleship Scharnhorst. The picture was indeed taken in Brest, probably right after the ship returned from Operation Berlin. The evidence is the white building with the blownout windows which seems to match the building in the linked picture.

Lets remember that heroic crew ... and all the sailors ( both sides 1932 + 18 ) which lost their life on that battle. Enjoy the print realized by a friend ( of course a Scharnhorst lover ) made after my personal researches made on her last camouflage.
