However, nothing goes as planned and Bangkok is the perfect setting for another adventure with the rowdy group.

Since his bride is from Thailand, Stu decides to hold the wedding there. Desperately hoping to avoid the mayhem of Doug's (Justin Bartha) bachelor party, Stu chooses what he thinks will be a safe option: an alcohol-free, prewedding brunch.

The film takes place two years after the first film and is about Phil (Bradley Cooper), Stu (Ed Helms), Alan (Zach Galifianakis), and Doug (Justin Bartha), who jet to Thailand for Stu's wedding.
