Of the two, The View Hotel sits inside Monument Valley Tribal Park, while Goulding’s Lodge sits a few miles outside the park. Kayenta and Mexican Hat just 30 minutes away are other good options for where to stay ...

Opened in 2008, it has been designed to blend into the landscape with its pink and red walls appearing to form another layer of rock. It is not essential to stay in The View Hotel to see the park. There are other accommodation options just a short drive away.

Is there is a recommended tour company that would offer affordable private tour for just my family and not a group tour with other people. Will be arriving in the afternoon on day.
