Han bar en regnbågsfärgad mössa, och gick i normal promenadtakt längs en kiosks vägg. Efter att han svängt vänster runt hörnet och försvunnit dök han strax upp igen på andra sidan.

Night’s chill descended, raising gooseflesh, so I slammed the trunk and hopped back into the passenger seat, out of the cold.
Now because of this deadline, I called a friend who lived a few miles from town to ask if I could stay over till I find a job! They were super chill and said, “yeah for as long as you want.” So for the rest of the day, I packed up some of my things.
