10 de may. de 2024 · Later the band was renamed "The Hype" and Dik Evans left the band to join another local band called "Virgin Prunes", thus forming the band that would become "U2". 10. Long after, Bono admitted during an interview with Larry King that he did not like the name "U2", which was suggested to the band by cover designer Steve Averill.
Hace 5 días · Apparently Irish musician/actor Gavin Friday was one of their vocalists, and their guitarist Dik Evans was/is the brother of U2’s The Edge. Despite their name, they seem a tad constipated here. Unfortunately, there’s no video for my all-time favorite prune-related musical moment, so I’ll just have to tell the story instead…
