  7. 23 de may. de 2024 · In 1677 the Russells sold it to Sir George Downing, with whose Cambridgeshire lands it descended thereafter, passing in 1800 to Downing College, Cambridge. The college sold its farms in Croydon and Clopton in 1947, mostly to the tenants.
