16 de may. de 2024 · As that war was drawing to a close, two mid-level diplomats of Britain and France, Sir Mark Sykes and Francois Georges Picot respectively had secretly agreed on areas of their countries’ influence. This is commonly referred to as the Sykes-Picot agreement.
