As such, she was the niece of Queen Kateryn Parr. Lady Anne married Sir Francis, Lord Talbot. Lord Talbot was the son of Sir George Talbot, 6th Earl of Shrewsbury and his first wife, Lady Gertrude Manners.

He was the second son of Henry Howard, 22nd Earl of Arundel, and Lady Elizabeth Stuart. He succeeded his brother Thomas Howard, 5th Duke of Norfolk, after Thomas's death in 1677.
