[1] It is intended to include all Sonoma County government-designated landmarks in unincorporated areas of Sonoma County, but to exclude landmarks in separately incorporated cities and towns.

He wrote: "Next to my wife, the ranch is the dearest thing in the world to me." He desperately wanted the ranch to become a successful business enterprise.
