2 de may. de 2024 · Warhol’s advertisements had the easily legible appearance of children’s book illustrations and were often accompanied by the cursive and misspelt script of his mother, Julia Warhola. The same is true of the artist’s books, explaining the missing “d” in the title of 25 Cats Name Sam and One Blue Pussy.

Hace 4 días · I’m obsessed with this illustration by Julia Warhola — especially the amorphous, rotund cat, with its crooked hind legs. You can see other pages here; the one captioned “some wear chapeaux” is also very goofy and something I’d like to own in print form.
