    Hace 3 días · Malcolm was born between 23 April and 24 May 1141 and upon his father's death on 12/13 June 1152, he became heir to King David. He succeeded to the throne on 24 May 1153. He was knighted by Henry II of England at Périgueux around 30 June 1159, returning to Scotland in early 1160.
