Hace 2 días · Over Wallop was, however, a separate parish in 1291, although as late as the end of the 14th century a pension of 30s. was paid to the Treasurer of York Cathedral, the patron of Nether Wallop. The advowson was in the possession of Richard de Wallop in 1342, and has continued with his descendants.
