  3. Not sure if they're considered "obscure" but the so-called Russian 5 are worth listening to for the impact they had on Russian classical music during their time. Rimsky-Korsakov is arguably the most well-known, but Borodin and Balakirev are less known while still having great pieces. Islamey by Balakirev is among my favourite Russian piano works.
