Hace 2 días · Sir Thomas Aylesbury, son and heir of Sir John, granted the manor in 1416 to Sir Thomas Chaworth, husband of his daughter Isabel, who obtained full possession of it, and in 1438 settled it on himself and his wife Isabel. In 1447, with Elizabeth, possibly his second wife, he held manorial courts here.
22 de may. de 2024 · He was also lord of Drayton Beauchamp Manor (q.v.), with which Milton Keynes descended in the Aylesbury family. After the death of Sir Thomas Aylesbury in 1418, a third of the manor was assigned in dower to his widow Katherine and included among other rooms one called the Knight's Chamber.
Sir Thomas Pakington died in 1571 and his widow Dorothy daughter of 'Kytson the Merchant,' one of the executors of Henry VIII, held Aylesbury in dower. She was succeeded by her son Sir John Pakington, kt., who died aged seventy-four in 1625.

11 de may. de 2024 · Instead it passed, perhaps c. 1360, to John's former ward, Sir Laurence Pabenham, who at his death in 1399 held 70 a., partly of the Zouches. Pabenham's son and heir John died under age in 1407. His sister and heir Catherine, who married secondly Sir Thomas Aylesbury (d. 1418), died in 1436.
