15 de may. de 2024 · Conocí al poeta Jack Hirshman (1933-2021) en una lectura en Nueva York, su ciudad natal, en 1983. Jayne Cortez me condujo hasta la mesa donde autografiaba ejemplares de sus poemarios. Pudimos intercambiar alguna sonrisa, libros y ese afán -que nunca murió en él- de cambiar al mundo, de mejorarlo a través del oficio de la poesía.
