  2. you can get a retinue group for every region you have (build a manor in the region). i believe the max you can have is 5 (?) groups + mercs + retinue (1 for each region you own that has a manor). It doesn't let me go above 6 total "groups". Like rn I have 4 militia men and 2 retinue.
