Hace 4 días · Happy Forever is an unconventional biography of Mark Volman who, along with his musical partner Howard Kaylan, made up the frontline of the celebrated ’60s pop band the Turtles and, later, was Flo — again with Kaylan — in Flo & Eddie.
I think Howard did the majority of the leads with Zappa, check out some Flo and Eddie era live footage on YouTube, it will help you match the voices to the person.
snarmisaurus. Flo & Eddie Talk To Frank Zappa 1989. I came across this on YouTube today. I highly suggest giving it a listen. Credit to tomtiddler1 for posting it. It's nice hearing this more casual and average guy side of Frank. I don't think I've heard this much laughter from Frank in a single interview.
