  3. Hace 2 días · I recently finished the rather lengthy autobiography of Whittaker Chambers called Witness —this is a complete aside but it’s terrific and well worth the time investment. He was a Communist spy during most of the 1930s and was involved with some of the most powerful men in the government—including Alger Hiss, who at one time was the second most powerful man in the State Department.
