Tobin, C.Ss.R., Archbishop of Newark, will ordain three men to the priesthood during a Presbyteral Ordination on Saturday, May 25, at 10 a.m., and three transitional deacons during a Diaconate Ordination on Sunday, May 19, at noon.

Some of them have been in formation since graduating high school. Some discerned their calling to the presbyterate much later. The group contains natives of the Philippines and Iceland.

  5. 15 de may. de 2024 · The Archdiocese of Chicago, as part of this year’s Diaconate Ordination, ordained 12 men as permanent deacons and two men as transitional deacons on May 11, 2024 at Holy Name Cathedral in Chicago. Cardinal Cupich was the principal celebrant and homilist.
