In my particular primary school, our reports are written by committee, which is a joke. So, for example, in Year 5, I write the comments for students in my class, but then the whole year-level team "edits" these, which actually means that if the Lead Teacher feels they need, they rewrite my comments completely, even if I disagree with what is in there and then my name is put on the report.
