Hace 1 día · For many years of her life, Georgia O’Keeffe was a New Yorker. Between 1918 and 1949, she called midtown Manhattan home, spending each autumn through spring in the city. Beginning in 1924 and for the next dozen years, the artist lived seasonally at the Shelton Hotel, a spectacular residential skyscraper on Lexington Avenue.
