Its attractions include the Kõpu Lighthouse (pictured), in the far west of the island. Both islands can be reached by TS Laevad ferries from and to the mainland, in the case of Hiiumaa, on the Rohuküla-Heltermaa route.--

7 de may. de 2024 · The North-Western Estonian park will be installed 12 km (7.5 miles) off the country’s Hiiumaa Island and is expected to produce roughly 4 TWh of electricity with up to 60 turbines. It will become operational in the 2030s, at the earliest. The offshore project, previously known as Hiiu, was initiated by Nelja Energia back in 2006.
