Islands is so different from everything KC has made, especially towards the end, that it intrigues me every time I listen through it. Anyway, if it’s a choice between listening to Lizard or Islands, I’m going to pick Islands. Thankfully I can listen to each in turn!

25 de may. de 2024 · 8. Thrak. Thrak is the product of King Crimson’s 1990s incarnation, which was famous for being a “double trio.”. It is a solid studio album in a lot of respects. However, it is brought down by a couple of issues. One, Thrak doesn’t make as effective use of the six-member setup of the band as what one might hope.

On June 28 th 2024, 50 years later to the date of that recording, the full concert will be reissued, as a 3,000 copies limited edition on 200gram coloured (blue sparkle) Vinyl.
