23 de may. de 2024 · Hohenzollern Castle, near Hechingen, was built in the mid-19th century by Frederick William IV of Prussia on the remains of the castle founded in the early 11th century. Alpirsbach Abbey, founded by the Hohenzollerns in 1095. Zollern, from 1218 Hohenzollern, was a county of the Holy Roman Empire.
He wasn’t his predecessor that’s for sure. I respect him, he was put in a scary position with major power alliances surrounding him and very few guarantees of safety but he successfully kept prussia alive and well. He also heavily supported the arts and built up the images they were now connect with Prussia today.

22 de may. de 2024 · Wilhelm Keitel was a German Field Marshal, head of the Oberkommando der Wehrmacht (Supreme Command of the Armed Forces) and de facto war minister. At the Allied court at Nuremberg he was tried, sentenced to death and hanged as a major war criminal October 16, 1946.

He was a Protestant German ruler known chiefly for ending the Teutonic Knights’ government of East Prussia and founding a hereditary dukedom in its place.
