They have a story to tell rather than something to sell, as somebody very nicely put it. And yes, both come over as very humble. With Gilroy, I was fascinated to learn about his back catalogue – I knew about the Bourne trilogy, but I hadn’t realised that he had written The Devil’s Advocate and the Dolores Claiborne adaptation, as well as the magnificent Michael Clayton of course.

Keep giving Gilroy more Star Wars. The only thing of his I ever disagreed with was adding real swears to Star Wars. And not because I’m pearl clutching. I just feel it’s too anachronistic. But he is responsible for 3 of the best speeches ever made in Star Wars and hands down the best series.
