Count Philippe de Lannoy (14 August 1922 – 10 January 2019) was a Belgian noble and provincial councillor of Hainaut. He was the alderman of finance for Frasnes-lez-Anvaing. He was the father of Stéphanie, Hereditary Grand Duchess of Luxembourg.
In the 1623 Division of Land, Philip is listed as Philipe de la Noye. In both the 1626 Purchasers list and the 1633–34 tax list, he is listed as Phillip Delanoy. Philip's name was changed to Delano in New England. His father's name at marriage and death is recorded in Dutch church records as Jan Lano.
Its progenitor is Philippe de Lannoy (1602–1681), a Pilgrim of Walloon descent, who arrived at Plymouth, Massachusetts, in the early 1620s. His descendants also include Eustachius De Lannoy (who played an important role in Indian history), Frederic Adrian Delano, Robert Redfield, and Paul Delano.

1 de jun. de 2024 · The progenitor of the Delano family in the Americas was Philippe de Lannoy [1] whose family name was anglicized to Delano. The 19-year-old Pilgrim of Flemish descent arrived at Plymouth, Massachusetts on November 9, 1621 on the second Pilgrim ship, Fortune.
French by ancestry, Dutch by birth, and English by association, Philippe de Lanoy, just nineteen years old, embarked for America on the ship "Fortune" landing in Plymouth in 1621. He lived with his uncle, Francis Cooke, who had arrived a year earlier on the " Mayflower ."
