The Thurgood Marshall School of Law (TMSL) is an ABA-accredited law school at Texas Southern University in Houston, Texas. It awards Juris Doctor and Master of Law degrees. Thurgood Marshall School of Law is a member-school of the Thurgood Marshall College Fund and Association of American Law Schools .

I’ve met so many people from there and they all enjoy school. The advocacy programs are great and the alumni network in Houston is huuuuuggggeee for job placement at small and mid size firms. Big law isn’t impossible but certainly not likely. But if you got a decent scholarship, big law may not even be what you’re looking for.

Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Marshall attended Lincoln University and the Howard University School of Law. At Howard, he was mentored by Charles Hamilton Houston , who taught his students to be "social engineers" willing to use the law to fight for civil rights.
