L'ALBERGO DEL MONASTERO was a convent of the Poor Clare nuns between the sixteenth and eighteenth centuries. Accessible by a lift carved into the rock and located on the islet that we now call the Aragonese Castle, the ancient convent was transformed in the 1960s into a place of welcome for travellers.
