Bobby Darin (born Walden Robert Cassotto; May 14, 1936 – December 20, 1973) was an American musician, songwriter and actor. He performed jazz, pop, rock and roll, folk, swing, and country music. Darin started his career as a songwriter for Connie Francis.
Bobby Darin Born Walden Robert Cassotto is the first of only two albums containing all-Darin compositions (the other is the follow-up, Commitment ), and was originally released in a gatefold sleeve containing the lyrics to the songs on the inside and some of Darin's poetry and musings on the back.
