41 Bienaventurado el que piensa en el pobre; En el día malo lo librará Jehová. 2 Jehová lo guardará, y le dará vida; Será bienaventurado en la tierra, Y no lo entregarás a la voluntad de sus enemigos. 3 Jehová lo sustentará sobre el lecho del dolor; Mullirás toda su cama en su enfermedad. 4 Yo dije: Jehová, ten misericordia de mí;
1 Blessed is he who considers the poor; The Lord will deliver him in time of trouble. 2 The Lord will preserve him and keep him alive, And he will be blessed on the earth; You will not deliver him to the will of his enemies. 3 The Lord will strengthen him on his bed of illness; You will sustain him on his sickbed.
1 Blessed are those who have regard for the weak; the Lord delivers them in times of trouble. 2 The Lord protects and preserves them— they are counted among the blessed in the land— he does not give them over to the desire of their foes. 3 The Lord sustains them on their sickbed. and restores them from their bed of illness.
For the choirmaster. A Psalm of David. 1 Blessed is the one who cares for the poor; the LORD will deliver him in the day of trouble. 2 The LORD will protect and preserve him; He will bless him in the land. and refuse to surrender him. to the will of his foes. 3 The LORD will sustain him on his bed of illness.
2 The Lord protects them. and keeps them alive. He gives them prosperity in the land. and rescues them from their enemies. 3 The Lord nurses them when they are sick. and restores them to health. 4 “O Lord,” I prayed, “have mercy on me. Heal me, for I have sinned against you.” 5 But my enemies say nothing but evil about me.
Psalm 41 is the 41st psalm of the Book of Psalms, beginning in English in the King James Version: "Blessed is he that considereth the poor". In the slightly different numbering system used in the Greek Septuagint version of the Bible, and generally in its Latin translations, this psalm is Psalm 40.
