  3. El primero fue “A Hard Road”, fenomenal álbum con Peter Green a la guitarra, John McVie al bajo y Aynsley Dunbar a la batería. Dunbar sustituyó a Hughie Flint. El cuarteto, producido por Mike Vernon en la Decca, grabó sus temas con la colaboración en instrumentos de viento de Ray Warleigh, Alan Skidmore y John Almond.
