Patrick Joseph Farrow was the second son of Maureen O’Sullivan, an actress, and John Villiers Farrow, a writer, director, and producer. Patrick Farrow was a self-taught artist. In 1967, he held his first solo exhibition of artwork in a Beverly Hills gallery.
