Robbie McIntosh (born 25 October 1957) is an English guitarist. McIntosh is best known as a session guitarist and member of The Pretenders from 1982 until 1987. In 1988 he began doing session guitar work for Paul McCartney joining his band full-time until early 1994.

All profits from this album are to go to Fortuneswell Cancer Trust that seeks to improve the services to cancer patients in Dorset mainly through Dorset County Hospital and as a thankyou to all the staff there. Robbie McIntosh is well known as a sideman/session player (Paul McCartney, The Pretenders, Talk Talk, Norah Jones, Tears For Fears, to name but a few) As a solo performer and singer, he has released 8 albums:
McIntosh began his career as a guitarist for the group Night in 1978 whose song Hot Summer Nights went to #18 in America. The group toured the U.S. supporting The Doobie Brothers in 1978-1979 which led to a relationship with producer Richard Perry and work with Littlefeat and Jackson Browne.
